I have experience in conducting school inspections as an additional inspector within primary schools across the country, and through this I have gained the Professional Qualification for School Inspectors (PQSI). I have also been an Early Years Inspector working through Tribal, inspecting childminders and early years practitioners.
I have been a county School Improvement Advisor (SIA) for a number of years within Buckinghamshire for up to 30 schools. These include everything from small village infant schools with 27 pupils to large three form entry schools with 700+ pupils. They all greatly vary in the amount of support I provide due to their current data dashboard and most recent Ofsted inspection outcome. I have worked within the field of school improvement services now for over 10 years, but this developed further through my role as a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE).
I also work collectively with six schools within the Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust (both primary and secondary) as their Primary School Improvement Lead.
I have obtained the European Individual Accreditation (EIA) through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) to a Senior Practitioner level, and on average coach between 20 - 25 school leaders a year in schools within challenging areas in the North of England through Ambition School Leadership. These coaching sessions, under my qualifications, are completed remotely over the telephone.
I seek to bring about rapid improvement in pupil outcomes through building highly effective relationships with my schools, while persuading and influencing thinking. I am flexible, highly organised, detail orientated and able to prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
I am a HLTA preparer and assessor, and an accredited NPQML and NPQSL facilitator for the new national programmes through Best Practice Network. I am regularly asked to facilitate staff INSET and Governor training within my schools.
